SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. -- A Simpsonville man is in custody on child pornography charges, and investigators say there may be other victims.

Greenville County Sheriff's Sgt. Shea Smith said officers from the State Law Enforcement Division, Laurens County, Greenville County and the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Thomas Davis on Monday.

Davis, 37, is charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Deputies said the case began in March when a 15-year-old girl came to authorities and said Davis had sexual contact with her.

Acting on a search warrant for Davis' home, an investigator located digital photos of the girl engaged in sexual acts with Davis. Investigators are now looking at a total of five computers, plus disks and CDs.

Investigators said they believe Davis opened his home to troubled juveniles and would allow them to stay at his home. Investigators said they believe that was how Davis and the girl met.

Neighbors told WYFF News 4's Todd Gladfelter that they thought it was strange to see so many teenagers around the house.

Smith said that investigators also found pictures of other juveniles who have not been identified and may also be victims.

Anyone who believes they or their child had contact with Thomas Davis is asked to contact Investigator Jim Perry at 467-5370 to assist in identifying the juveniles in the other photographs.

Each count of sexual exploitation of a minor carries a potential sentence of 10 years in prison. Davis is being held on $100,000 bond.
